Earns its hype …. But you’ll probs need to accessorise!
I chose the My Henry after it earned a recommendation in Australia’s consumer mag, Choice. It was one of the less expensive high ranked models. It definitely works very well straight out of the box. The small rounded size makes it easy to manoeuvre and less likely to be damaging walls and furniture. It’s also quite light. However, after my initial purchase of the machine, I did need to purchase the special carpet attachment to make vacuuming my carpeted areas easier and more effective. This of course added to the total cost (and arguably this attachment should be included among the attachments that come with the basic model). My four star ratings pertain to this issue. I actually prefer the manual cord winder (as in my experience the automated ones tend to have a very limited shelf life and then you are left with no means of stowing the cord). The bags are an extra ongoing expense, but on balance are preferable as they do make disposal more straightforward than bag less models. I also like that this company is well established and only makes a limited range of models, so I can be reasonably confident that I’ll be able to get replacement parts well into the cleaner’s life. On its performance so far I’d def by this vacuum again! One extra advantage - somewhat superficial - is that my grand kids found the machine a real novelty, especially my grandson who had seen them in use in a hotel on a recent holiday in FIji!
